INDIANAPOLIS — COVID-19 is still making an impact on the Colts roster.
Indianapolis placed safety Andrew Sendejo on the reserve/COVID-19 list. If Sendejo is vaccinated, he could return to the lineup by Sunday’s game if he tests negative by then; if he’s not, he’s likely out for the game against the Jaguars because he has to be isolated for five days before returning to the team.
Sendejo, who did not play in the last two games due to a concussion suffered against the Patriots, had returned to practice Wednesday.
The 34-year-old Sendejo has played 609 snaps, more than any other safety on the defense, because of the injuries suffered by starting safeties Julian Blackmon (torn Achilles tendon) and Khari Willis (missed six games due to separate injuries and COVID-19).
