ANDERSON – When the Colts hit the practice field to start Training Camp on Sunday afternoon, 88 players will be eligible to practice.
That number is 88 because the Colts placed outside linebacker Robert Mathis and offensive guard Donald Thomas on the physically unable to perform list on Sunday.
Despite being on PUP, players can come off the list at any point during Training Camp (where as if this was the regular season, a player must stay on PUP for the first six weeks of the season).
Chuck Pagano said on Sunday morning that Mathis and Thomas will be "week-to-week" in terms of them being cleared.
