Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano announced Saturday afternoon that offensive guard Jack Mewhort will be placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. Mewhort’s 2016 season also was cut short with the same injury.

The 26 year-old lineman was selected in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft, and has been one of the team’s most consistent players on the line when healthy.
