INDIANAPOLIS — Days before the first practice of training camp on Wednesday, the Colts began making the necessary roster moves for players battling injury.
Indianapolis placed veteran tackle Eric Fisher on the active/physically unable to perform list, placed second-round pick Dayo Odeyingbo on the active/non-football injury list and second-year defensive tackle Rob Windsor on injured reserve.
The Fisher and Odeyingbo moves were expected.
The 30-year-old tackle tore his Achilles tendon in the AFC Championship Game, and although the Colts believe they will get him back, the typical recovery time for a torn Achilles is roughly eight months.
