The two Indianapolis Colts players who met Madi Moore when together they announced the team's NFL draft picks in April are helping to pay for the 17-year-old's funeral.
Cornerbacks Kenny Moore and Pierre Desir together donated more than $6,500 to the crowd funding page in Madi Moore's honor on the web site Giving Compassion.
"Sad day today. I want to give my deepest condolences to the Moore family. Madi, it was an honor to meet you and spend that day with you during the draft," Desir tweeted this week.
