Philip Rivers signed a one-year deal to play with the Colts. It may or may not be the final year of his career. At the age of 38, his career is clearly year-to-year. If he plays well in 2020, he might sign on for another year with the Colts. If not, he has his post-playing career plans figured out.
Once Rivers is done playing football, he will be a high school coach at St. Michael Catholic High School in Alabama. He will continue to use his football knowledge well after his playing days are over. Being a high school coach seems like a good fit for him.
