INDIANAPOLIS — When the Colts got back from one of the worst losses in franchise history, a loss that abruptly ended a season that seemed destined for the playoffs, Colts owner Jim Irsay held a meeting with head coach Frank Reich and general manager Chris Ballard.
The conversation lasted a couple of hours.
Irsay, who has been famously single-minded in his desire to get the Colts back to the ranks of the league’s elite but has also been steadfast in his belief in Reich and Ballard, broke down the season with his top two employees.
“Love his approach, how demanding he is,” Reich said.
