INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts are going to have to wait as long as any NFL team to make their debut at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2022.
Indianapolis is hosting the Kansas City Chiefs at 1 p.m. on Sept. 25 in its home opener, a date that means the Colts will spend the first two weeks of the season on the road, one year after opening the schedule with two consecutive games at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Colts open the season on the road in Houston at 1 p.m. on Sept. 11, trying to break the league’s longest active losing streak in season openers.
