After he suffered a concussion against the Denver Broncos in Week 15, the Indianapolis Colts have have placed tight end Brandon Williams on Injured Reserve. The Colts elevated safety Ronald Martin from the practice squad to take Williams’ spot.
During a block where the Colts were punting, Williams’ helmet struck his opponent’s helmet, and Williams fell back to the ground. He was taken off of the field on a backboard and was driven to the hospital in an ambulance. He wasn’t held too long and was back at team headquarters later on in the week with the rest of the team.
