The Indianapolis Colts announced Friday that the team has parted ways with linebackers coach Jeff Fitzgerald.
For those keeping count, that’s now the 7th member of last season’s coaching staff that the team has officially dismissed–with a new change among the Colts offensive line coaches also reportedly imminent.
Fitzgerald just completed his 4th season as the Colts linebackers coach. It was his 22nd season coaching at the NFL level. Prior to joining the Colts, he was the Baltimore Ravens linebackers coach from 2004-07. He’s also served as a linebackers coach for the Arizona Cardinals (2001-03) and Washington Redskins (1998-1999).
