INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts plan to get two of the three starting offensive linemen they’ve been missing back on the practice field in limited fashion this week.
All-Pro left guard Quenton Nelson, who underwent surgery three weeks ago to remove a loose piece of bone from his foot, and Pro Bowl center Ryan Kelly (hyperextended elbow) will practice on a limited basis this week.
Nelson’s return is more of a surprise than Kelly's.
When Kelly suffered his injury early in the first couple of days of training camp, the Colts initially said he’d likely be out a couple of weeks, and the team’s starting center started doing blocking drills on the practice field last week in an effort to ramp up his return to action.
