Matt Eberflus wasn’t the only one excited about the team’s newly acquired talent. Offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni was just as thrilled with the newly added skill players on offense, including wideout Michael Pittman Jr. and running back Jonathan Taylor.
We know the Colts’ offense was abysmal last season, particularly in the passing department. But with new additions at wideout, running back and most notably quarterback, Indy’s offense looks to take a major step forward this season.
Speaking of new their new quarterback, Sirianni did mention Rivers and how running back Nyheim Hines will be a major help to him in the passing attack, according to The Athletic Indiana’s Stephen Holder.
