INDIANAPOLIS – Coach Chuck Pagano summoned T.J. Green an hour before Tuesday’s Indianapolis Colts practice for an important conversation.
“Do you wanna play corner?” Pagano began.
Green, without hesitation, responded: “I’m all for it.”
And, so it went, according to Green. The beginning of a possible position change for the Colts’ 2016 second-round draft pick. A potential career-altering decision was made in an instant, not long before a random Tuesday afternoon practice.
More great Colts coverage:
Green, drafted by the Colts to play safety on a defense that needs playmakers, hasn’t consistently cracked the lineup at strong safety.
