INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts have been ramping up their situational work.
For Sunday’s practice, shortened in preparation for a marathon session Monday at Lucas Oil Stadium, that meant putting Philip Rivers and Jacoby Brissett into the two-minute drill to end practice.
Rivers marched the offense down the field in nine plays, completing five of eight passes and hitting Nyheim Hines, Michael Pittman, Farrod Green and Mo Alie-Cox to get the Colts into position for Hines to bowl into the end zone on a short carry, although cornerback Rock Ya-Sin had a nice pass breakup in the middle of the series.
