INDIANAPOLIS — After 10 weeks, they’ve got one practice left. Come early afternoon Thursday, a fleet of fancy cars will be peeling out of the Colts’ West 56th Street facility parking lot, hurrying for the airport.

It’s the NFL’s version of summer break. It’s time to rest and recharge.

The Colts have been at it since late April. Which player has made the most progress? Start with tight end Mo Alie-Cox, who has stepped in ably to fill the top spot on the depth chart while starters Jack Doyle and Eric Ebron recover from injuries sustained last season.
