INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts placed guard Hugh Thornton on injured reserve, officially ending his season and shutting the door on players from their 2013 draft class on the active roster.
Thornton started 32 of the 37 games that he appeared in during his three seasons, but his health was an issue -- he missed 11 games in his three seasons.
To no one's surprise, Thornton spent the majority of training camp and the preseason injured instead of competing against Denzelle Good for the starting right guard position. Thornton has been wearing a boot and using a scooter to get around because of an ankle injury.
