INDIANAPOLIS — Quincy Wilson's status has been the topic of much speculation the past three weeks.
The rookie cornerback has been a healthy scratch, with the coaching staff repeatedly saying the second-round pick needs to earn the right to be active on game day.
On Thursday, defensive coordinator Ted Monachino offered a more detailed explanation for what's holding Wilson back.
"When Quincy practices and plays better than the other guys, he’ll be up and he’ll be playing," Monachino said. "He played in the Arizona game (in Week 2) and played very well. We’re not at all worried about putting Quincy in the game.
