Anthony Richardson’s viral touchdown pass from Week 1 still was the talk of the Indianapolis Colts’ locker room Wednesday.
The 22-year-old quarterback threw the ball 65.3 yards in the air, the third-longest pass recorded by Next Gen Stats since the initiative’s introduction in 2014.
The fact the ball hit wide receiver Alec Pierce perfectly in stride only adds to the lore.
“I mean, that one throw he had, I was — I ain’t never seen anything like that in my life,” wide receiver Josh Downs said. “So, yeah, he showed a lot of promise out there.
