INDIANAPOLIS — For many fans, the lasting image of Antonio Morrison likely is his flat-footed effort as Chicago running back Jordan Howard caught a pass in front of him and scored a go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter Oct. 9 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The rookie linebacker was benched shortly after that game, ending his audition to be the starter opposite D'Qwell Jackson.
On Sunday, he'll find himself playing in place of Jackson. And he believes he's better prepared for the job.
"It's just confidence, really," Morrison said after Thursday's practice at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center.
