INDIANAPOLIS — A year ago, Andrew Luck was watching games from the sideline after suffering a lacerated kidney and partially torn abdominal muscle in a win against the eventual Super Bowl champion Broncos.
Now the Colts' all-world quarterback is enjoying one of the finest starts of his five-year career. He's completed a career-high 63.7 percent of his passes for 2,565 yards with 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
And this week he was voted by his teammates as Indianapolis' recipient of the annual Ed Block Courage Award.
"It's an honor," Luck said. "It's very special any time your teammates recognize you for anything.
