INDIANAPOLIS — The NFL made a scoring adjustment this week that placed Frank Gore's fumble against the Raiders at the 36-yard line instead of the 37 as was recorded on game day.
That means the veteran running back will have a little more work to do Sunday to break a nearly decade-long drought without a 1,000-yard rusher in Indianapolis.
Gore now needs 37 yards to hit the milestone, becoming the first Colts running back to do so since Joseph Addai in 2007. The 33-year-old also would become the oldest rusher to eclipse the mark since 35-year-old John Riggins with the Redskins in 1984.
