INDIANAPOLIS — Pass rush will be at a premium Sunday when the Colts host Arizona in the home opener.
Indianapolis had just one sack — from veteran Margus Hunt — during last week's 46-9 loss against the Rams in Los Angeles. And getting the ball quickly out of Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer's hand will be imperative this week.
The Lions pressured Palmer throughout last week's game and harrassed the veteran into throwing three interceptions.
But that could be a difficult formula for the Colts to replicate. Indeed, the team will need all hands on deck to make the plan work.
