The Indianapolis Colts went into last season with depth at wide receiver after the offseason additions of players such Andre Johnson and Duron Carter to go with T.Y. Hilton, Donte Moncrief, Phillip Dorsett and Griff Whalen. Now the Colts have a shortage of players at the position. Carter went back to the Canadian Football League, Whalen was released and ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported Friday that the Colts plan to release Johnson after just one season in Indianapolis.
