In a surprising start to the offseason, the Indianapolis Colts are suddenly in the market for a new offensive line coach.
NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported Tuesday that Indianapolis has fired Dave DeGuglielmo — the lone offensive position coach hired by Josh McDaniels before the Patriots' offensive coordinator backed out of the head coaching job last year.
DeGuglielmo led a sharp turnaround for an O-line that surrendered an NFL-leading 56 sacks in 2017. The Colts allowed just 18 sacks this season, the lowest total in the league.
But Indianapolis coach Frank Reich is said to be seeking his own hire to complete his offensive staff.
