INDIANAPOLIS — For the third consecutive week, a key member of the Colts defense has been diagnosed with an injury after the end of the game.
All-Pro linebacker Darius Leonard developed concussion symptoms after the Tennessee win and has missed the last two games. A torn meniscus was found in Malik Hooker’s knee after the Atlanta win, and he will miss four to six weeks.
This time it’s Clayton Geathers, potentially leaving the Colts without either of their starting safeties for a trip to Kansas City to take on reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes.
“Clayton developed some concussion symptoms after the game,” Colts coach Frank Reich said.
