INDIANAPOLIS -- Having Darius Butler as a full-time safety didn't seem like such a set idea after the Indianapolis Colts used their first-round draft pick on Malik Hooker back in April.
Maybe Butler would go back to his natural position of slot cornerback after all?
That may not be the case, however, after Hooker and Clayton Geathers, the two projected starting safeties next season, both missed the entire offseason while working their way back from hip and neck injuries, respectively.
Geathers' injury appears to be the most severe of the two.
