INDIANAPOLIS -- The Colts announced on Friday that they have re-signed Darius Butler, one of their key veterans in the secondary. Butler will make the transition from cornerback, a position he’s played his entire eight-year career, to safety in 2017. The move increases the odds of Butler being able to add a few more years onto his career.
Terms: One year for as much as $4.5 million
Grade A: Butler showed his ability to play safety when he started there against Green Bay in Week 9. He had an interception against Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in that game.
