INDIANAPOLIS – With a coin flip showing the Vikings helmet right side up on Friday, the Colts learned they will be selecting 15th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft.
The loss of Friday’s coin flip has the Colts in the 15th position come Round One in April.
With Friday’s coin flip, and waiting confirmation from the NFL, the Colts draft order for 2017 is expected to be as followed:
- 1st Round (15th overall)
- 2nd Round (48th overall)
- 3rd Round (80th overall)
- 4th Round (122nd overall)
- 4th Round via compensatory (144th overall)
- 5th Round (158th overall)
- 6th Round (200th overall)
- 7th Round (traded to Cleveland)
Having five picks in the first four rounds is something the Colts have not had going into a draft since 2009.
