The Indianapolis Colts hadn’t gone 2-0 to begin a preseason since 1994. After Saturday night’s 19-18 loss to the Baltimore Ravens at Lucas Oil Stadium, that mark still stands.
But for those looking for some rays of hope heading into the 2016 regular season, the play of quarterback Andrew Luck and the first-team offense showed some promise.
Luck and running back Frank Gore both started the game after sitting out last week’s preseason opener at Buffalo.
The fifth-year signal caller directed two offensive drives before giving way to top backup Scott Tolzien with the first possession of the second quarter.
