ANDERSON — Pass rush figures to be a major focus of the Colts' offseason, and the team quietly got to work on rehauling it Monday.
Indianapolis announced it has signed outside linebacker Alex Bazzie to a futures/reserve contract. Bazzie spent the past three seasons with the British Columbia Lions in the Canadian Football League and was named an all-star in 2016 after recording 11 sacks.
A former standout at Marshall, Bazzie had 29 sacks and two forced fumbles in 50 career CFL games.
He reportedly worked out with the Colts in December and auditioned for as many as 10 NFL teams overall.
