INDIANAPOLIS — Adam Vinatieri is officially back.
Back because the Colts have built themselves into a contender again. Back because he believes there’s something special about the rest of the locker room. Back because of the atmosphere Chris Ballard and Frank Reich have established in Indianapolis.
But Vinatieri is also back because he still believes in his own ability, believes he’s still capable of being essentially the same kicker he’s been for the Colts for the past 13 years.
