INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts have ruled out linebacker Daniel Adongo for Sunday’s game at Jacksonville.
Adongo was on the team’s injury report Friday, but it was listed as “not injury related.” The decision to rule Adongo out came a day after police went to check on a female resident at the home she shares with the Colts linebacker in the Indianapolis suburb of Fishers, Indiana.
The woman notified a friend via text that she needed help. The friend got in touch with the police, who then arrived at the residence. There, the woman said she did not want medical assistance and she could not explain why she sent the text, according to a police report that was sent to the Hamilton County (Indiana) prosecutor’s office to be reviewed.
