MOBILE, Ala. –
A year after the Indianapolis Colts underwent a near-complete overhaul of their coaching staff, the franchise has retained almost all of its key assistants for 2017.
That obviously includes offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski, and that’s huge. This is an important offseason for the Colts offense, particularly for a young offensive line that needs to continue to be developed. Offensive line coach Joe Philbin and his assistant, Joe Gilbert, are back as well.
More important, quarterback Andrew Luck is expected to miss the entire offseason after undergoing shoulder surgery last week, and will benefit from continuity.
