According to CBS Sports Jordan Dajani, Indianapolis Colts tight end Jelani Woods is the team’s pick for his ‘under-the-radar’ player who could shine during the 2024 season:
“Here’s an interesting name,” Dajani writes. “The former third-round pick out of Virginia missed the entire 2023 season due to injury, but caught 25 passes for 312 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie in 2022. Jelani Woods could be Anthony Richardson’s security blanket in 2024. Shane Steichen saw how tight ends can make life easy on quarterbacks during his time with the Philadelphia Eagles, so the former 6-foot-7 all-state basketball player could be utilized as a unique weapon in Indy.
