Colts Injury Update: Safety Khari Willis, Wideout Michael Pittman Jr. Enter League’s Concussion Protocol

According to head coach Frank Reich, the Indianapolis Colts will continue monitoring the status of their starting offensive tackles, Anthony Castonzo and Braden Smith, while both starting safety Khari Willis and rookie wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. have entered the league’s concussion protocol (via The Athletic’s Zak Keefer):

Colts injury updates—

Anthony Castonzo: team will know more later in the week

Braden Smith: Covid list; if close contact can return Weds

Khari Willis and Michael Pittman: in concussion protocol— Zak Keefer (@zkeefer) December 28, 2020

Obviously, the status of the Colts’ bookends along the starting offensive line is a key concern heading into Sunday’s must-win game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
