The Indianapolis Colts released their injury report Thursday and starting center Khaled Holmes (neck) did not practice once again. It’s presumably the second consecutive day that Holmes missed practice, as he wasn’t seen during the team’s media portion on Wednesday.
Instead, backup center Jonotthan Harrison was taking the first team reps in his place and will get the start in his absence. Harrison last started for the Colts at center in Week 15 of last season, having 10 career starts. He showed initial promise as an undrafted rookie center last year before being benched for Holmes because of a combination of inconsistency and mental mistakes.
