On Sunday, October 30, the Colts teamed up with Verizon to host the 2016 Hopeline Cell Phone Collection prior to the Colts vs. Chiefs game. From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., volunteers from Verizon and Coburn Place collected used cell phones and accessories as well as cash to benefit Coburn Place Safe Haven. Donations were collected at the Colts Community Collection Stations, presented by Toyota, located outside of each Lucas Oil Stadium Gate.
The drive was the third annual HopeLine Cell Phone Collection drive in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month to benefit Coburn Place Safe Haven, an Indianapolis organization that has growing waiting lists for families in need of transitional housing.
