INDIANAPOLIS - In conjunction with their weekly Community Tuesday program, the Colts kicked off the team’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, sponsored by McDonald’s, on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 with a free football camp for over 200 local youth.
Kids, ages 5-15, were invited to the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center, where they participated in six football drill stations. Groups from several community organizations including Concord Neighborhood Center, Hawthorne Community Center, Keenan-Stahl Boys & Girls Club and LeGore Boys & Girls Club all came out to show off their football skills.
Five Colts players including S Matthias Farley, TE Mike Miller, CB Christopher Milton, WR Tevaun Smith and CB Frankie Williams talked with the children about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and incorporating 60 minutes of physical activity into their daily schedules.
