INDIANAPOLIS – The first bit of coaching news for the Colts in 2017 came on Wednesday morning.
Sanjay Lal is the team’s new wide receivers coach. Lal has spent the past decade in the NFL, serving as the Bills’ wide receivers coach the last two seasons.
Lal takes over for Lee Hull, who was let go after one season in Indianapolis.
In Buffalo, 1,000-yard receiver Sammy Watkins spoke very highly of his two seasons with Lal.
"That's the one guy I don't want to leave," Watkins told ESPN.com late last season of Lal.
