The Colts are getting closer to having a complete coaching staff with today’s move. They’ve add Jim Herrmann to the staff to coach the linebackers.
Herrman comes to the Colts from the New York Giants, where he coached the same position. Normally a coach might not make lateral move like this, but with Tom Coughlin out as head coach the rest of the Giants coaching staff’s future is up in the air.
Herrmann was with the Giants since 2009, after three seasons with the New York Jets. Prior to that, he was on the coaching staff at the University of Michigan for 20 years.
