INDIANAPOLIS — It seems Tevin Mitchel makes a play in practice every day.
An interception here. A pass deflection there. Somehow, some way, the Indianapolis Colts' third-year cornerback finds a way to leave a lasting image in the coaches' eyes.
It's no coincidence. It's by design.
"I feel great," Mitchel said. "Every day I'm trying to make a play, trying to get one or two picks if I can, trying to make a play on the ball, just doing whatever I can to earn a spot on this team."
That the 25-year-old has been able to take the field every day and compete is a victory in and of itself.
