INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts have not closed the door on bringing back T.Y. Hilton for his eleventh season in an Indianapolis uniform.
Hilton, 32, remains a free agent, and he has been in communication with Colts general manager Chris Ballard.
The two had a text message conversation earlier this week.

Colts wide receiver outlook ahead of NFL Draft
The Colts are expected to take at least one wide receiver and maybe more in next week’s NFL Draft, but Ballard cautioned in his pre-draft news conference that it’s difficult for wide receivers to make an immediate impact as rookies, and he’s steadfastly shied away from slamming the door on the possibility of a potential Hilton return this offseason.
