The Indianapolis Colts looked as though they would have depth at safety this season when they used their first-round pick on Malik Hooker in last month's draft. Hooker was set to join Darius Butler, T.J. Green and Clayton Geathers, but the secondary took a hit when the Colts (finally) announced that Geathers had surgery on his neck and is not taking part in the team's offseason workouts.

Mike Wells: The hope is that Geathers will be back sooner than later.
