INDIANAPOLIS — Finding a capable swing tackle took the Colts four tries this offseason.
Sam Tevi got the first crack at the job. Will Holden took a shot at it. Julién Davenport had it for a while, long enough to convince the Colts he could start in the regular season, only to find out he couldn’t handle the role.
The answer finally came in the form of a trade, a trade that seemed minor at the time. Indianapolis sent a sixth-round pick to the Eagles in exchange for a seventh-round pick and Matt Pryor, essentially dropping back a round to pick up a player who’d lost his way in Philadelphia.
