According to Sharp Football Analysis, the Indianapolis Colts have the 7th easiest strength of schedule ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
The Colts fare much better than their AFC South counterparts, as the Jacksonville Jaguars (14th), Houston Texans (26th), and Tennessee Titans (27th!) are all projected to have much tougher strengths of schedule respectively.
Of course, the NFL’s official schedule release will occur this Wednesday at 8 PM EST, as the league has found a way to make arguably an ordinary event into another football holiday.
Specifically, the Horseshoe Faithful already know who the Colts are playing and where, it’s just a matter of knowing the date and times—and in what order their games will be (as well as the team’s BYE week):
The Colts will host the following teams at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2024:
Houston Texans
Jacksonville Jaguars
Tennessee Titans
Buffalo Bills
Miami Dolphins
Pittsburgh Steelers
Chicago Bears
Detroit Lions
The Colts will face the following teams on the road:
Houston Texans
Jacksonville Jaguars
Tennessee Titans
New York Jets
New England Patriots
Denver Broncos
New York Giants
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings
While a lot can change from one season to another, this does potentially place the Colts in a more favorable position than their AFC South rivals to reclaim the AFC South.
