Evan Boehm has signed his tender to return to the Colts for 2019. He was a restricted free agent after the Colts had picked him up off the Rams’ practice squad early in the 2018 season. He ended up playing in 11 games for the Colts, including four starts.
Keeping Boehm just increases the depth that the Colts have along the offensive line. They are trying to build depth there because they always seem to suffer injuries with that unit. Keeping Boehm not only increased the depth, but keeps some sort of continuity with the backups.
