INDIANAPOLIS -- The list of candidates to be the Indianapolis Colts' general manager continues to grow. That’s not surprising when you consider that there are only two GM openings in the NFL, and one those has Andrew Luck as the franchise quarterback.
Colts vice president of football operations Jimmy Raye III is the internal candidate. I wrote about Raye on Monday.
The rest of the list that’s been reported includes Green Bay director of football operations Eliot Wolf, Kansas City director of player personnel Chris Ballard, Seattle co-directors of pro personnel Scott Fitterer and Trent Kirchner, Baltimore assistant general manager Eric DeCosta and Minnesota assistant general manager George Paton.
