INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts expect to get Ryan Kelly back Tuesday for the start of this week’s practices preparing for Saturday’s showdown against the New England Patriots.
Kelly was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list the day before last week’s blowout win over the Houston Texans. Backup center Danny Pinter started in his place.
The Pro Bowl center was the first Colt to miss a regular season game this season because he’d been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, although 13 players and coaches were sidelined at some point during training camp.
“We expect him back tomorrow,” Indianapolis coach Frank Reich said.
