Chris Ballard and Frank Reich talk NFL Draft Day 2 Indianapolis Star
INDIANAPOLIS — Every time Chris Ballard was asked about needs this offseason, the Colts general manager mentioned depth in the secondary.
Ballard has filled the hole in this draft.
The Colts grabbed USC defensive back Marvell Tell with their first of two picks in the fifth round, making Tell the third secondary pick in their first six picks.
Tell, a safety at USC, has the skills to play cornerback, and could be making the transition to the outside in the Indianapolis defense.
