Colts don't plan to alter Thursday practice intensity despite Buckner, Castonzo injuries

INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts have seen critical members of their roster go down with injuries in practice two weeks in a row.

First it was star defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, who got kicked in the heel three days before the Texans game and suffered an ankle injury that nearly kept him out of the game. This past week, it was left tackle Anthony Castonzo, who was already battling a sprained MCL and suffered an ankle injury, again on a Thursday.

Castonzo wasn’t able to play against the Steelers, and coupled with Braden Smith going on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the Colts were forced to play without their top two tackles against the league’s best pass rush.
